9 AM Family Service with Blessing of Animals

10 AM Petting Zoo in the Park

11 AM St. Francis Celebratory Eucharist with Organ & Choir

October 4 marks the feast day of the Patron Saint of Animals, Saint Francis of Assisi. On the Sunday closest to this feast,  we remember and celebrate St. Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures through a special ceremony called  “Blessing of the Animals.”

You are invited to bring a pet with you to the 9 AM service. If your pet might become anxious or aggressive, we encourage you to bring a photo of the animal to be blessed instead. Children may also bring stuffed animals to be blessed.

The 11 AM Eucharist will round out the morning with special music for organ and choir in honor of St. Francis of Assisi.

Between the Services, from 10-11, you are invited to visit the petting zoo on the church lawn!

Farm-to-You Revue will be providing goats, ducks, chickens, and bunnies for all to enjoy.
