Young Adults in  Church

 

For Children between three years of age and the 5^th grade

Children at Christ Church in Poughkeepsie are loved and nurtured in an environment that is rooted in the Bible and the liturgy of the church. Our goal is to foster the unique relationship between each child and God. The growth of that relationship is assisted by trained adults - but is directed by the spirit of God within each child.

Children gather in classrooms located in the basement of the church at 9:45am each Sunday during the school year.  They enter the liturgy of the worship service at The Peace, where they join their families to receive Holy Communion.

This Advent Season, our children have made Advent Calendars for their families use at home.  Adults also joined in the fun as the Calendars were put together on the First Sunday of Advent.
