Music at Christ Church

Our music on Sunday mornings is a wonderful expression of the creative talents of those in our parish family who are musicians – with their voices and on a variety of instruments. A 3-manuel, 52-rank Gress-Miles pipe organ provides a marvelous foundation to the choral excellence of our choir and the strong congregational singing tradition at Christ Church. But don’t be surprised if you also hear a string quartet, a flute, an oboe, a clarinet, or even a jazz saxophone!

The Christ Church Choir is a warm, welcoming multi-generational group of singers from a wide variety of musical backgrounds. They are united in the joy of singing and dedicated to providing music for our Sunday worship service. The choir also sings for concerts and special services throughout the year. Click on recent choir performances for a listing of the music we have performed.

If you are interested in singing with the Christ Church Choir, please call Laura Russell, our Music Director, at the church office: 845.452.8220 or music@christchurchpok.org.

The Choir rehearses Thursday evenings during the school year from 7:30 pm to 9:30pm and Sunday mornings before the 10:00 a.m. Eucharist.
